We search the internet
for ways to repair anything and everything, so we thought why not repair
the planet.... well at least part of it.
Free
Rice
is an addictive word definition game that lets you donate 10 grains of
rice to the needy for every correct answer. You can also change
the category and select countries from a map.
FreeRice.com launched in January 2007 and is the brainchild of John
Breen a computer programmer, the idea was to help both educate the
planet and feed the planet at the same time.
10 grains of rice may not seem like much but you can check the totals
while you are on the site it runs by year and month. In October
2007 there were 830 grains donanated, today the total stands at a
staggering 80 billion grains.
The rice is paid for by the advertisers at the bottom of the game.
The rice is distributed by United Nations World Food program
WTP. So
go ahead and play, you may learn as you play and you will be helping
repair the planet.... 10 grains of rice at a time.

You are
now one step closer toknowing how to
repair anything
and the planet
